CHARACTERISTICS OF HABITUAL ABUSE (the most relevant):

Climate of "emotional sustainability" in the family through the use of psychological violence of domination carried out from physical, verbal and sexual violence, by which it exercises that domination that tries to transfer the members of the family and achieves it from fact.

The perpetrator of this crime exercises and reveals the message that he intends to convey to the members of the family nucleus through a psychological subjugation that he reveals through the exercise of violence.

The habitual abuser thus develops with his family a clear and diaphanous message of what we could call the hierarchization of family violence for the victim, who lives and breathes in a situation of fear, depression and anxiety, fearing, even, for his life, all of which implies a clear ignorance, on the part of the accused, of the personal dignity of the woman.

With habitual abuse, an infernal and unbreathable environment is exerted that will involve coexistence, based on acts of violence or objectification directed in time "on the same or different taxpayers from those provided for in the precept", resulting even indifferent that some of such acts have already been prosecuted.

It produces constant and continuous damage from which the victim, or victims, have the perception that they cannot get out of it and the harassment of the person who perpetrates these acts, with the aggravating circumstance regarding the perpetrator, that he is, no less, than the victim's partner, which causes situations of fear, even, and a feeling of not being able to report

In habitual abuse, the silence may have been prolonged in time until reaching a point where, after a serious event occurred, it is finally decided to report for having reached a limit beyond which the victim no longer She can put up with more acts of abuse towards herself and, at times, towards her children as well.
